Vodafone Calls Finally Working Properly at Home
I’m with Vodafone and live just outside a small town in the UK. The signal in our house has always been poor. Outside it was usually fine enough, but inside I’d often miss calls without even hearing the phone ring.
I bought the LCD-300 mainly because I needed normal calls at home. Support helped me check that 900 MHz was the right band for Vodafone in my area. They also said that mobile internet can sometimes work on this band too. I can’t speak for other networks, but in my case data did become more stable, which was a nice surprise.
The installation took a bit of experimenting. I fixed the outdoor antenna high in the garden, near the fence where the signal was strongest, then ran the cable inside and mounted the booster on the wall. The small screen was useful while adjusting everything, as I could see when the signal got better.
Since then, calls have been much more reliable. I don’t need to stand by the window anymore or walk around the house looking for signal. Internet is not super fast, but it works more steadily than before.
Overall, it has done exactly what I needed — made Vodafone usable indoors.
