Another way to increase cellular signal is to build a repeater on your own. To do this, you need to install two antennas (both inside and outside - see Fig. 1 and 2) connected by a cable. You can take two J-pole antennas at 900 MHz. To choose the right antenna, you need to know at what frequency your mobile operator works. You can determine the frequency of your operator using our Helper. You can buy such antennas at any online radio store. Install one antenna outside the window or on the roof (find the place where the signal is the best), and the other antenna to be situated in the room.

Then, you need to connect the antennas with cable. The cable should be thick so that the signal could pass through it without interference. For this purpose, the most suitable is coaxial cable shown in Figure 3. Thus, by setting this simple mechanism, the cellular signal will be improved. However, you should understand that the principle of this installation is directed only to transmit the available signal, but not to boost it.
Assuming that in the most excellent location your phone shows 2 sticks, it won’t show 5 sticks (bars) indoors - two is the maximum. In order to amplify a signal reception, and improve the communication quality, you need more powerful device such as a GSM booster. Our GSM boosters are tested and certified devices, which have helped to solve the problem of bad connection to many people. This is also confirmed by numerous customer reviews.
Hey guys! I have to ask for a consultation with your company regarding one little problem. Not long ago I purchased an amplifier MA250 produced by Nikrans and since that time I have been suffering from not stable work of indoor antenna. At least it looks like the problem is in the antenna. Can I be wrong?
The quality of 3g connection nowadays needs to be increased and this is a fact! So we can't be indifferent to it! AnyTone 3g repeaters – that's what you need! If you are suffering from not stable 3g reception, frequent disconnections, low or weak 3g signal – 3g repeaters are especially for you!
A home-made booster can be done using two coffee cans. To do this, you will also need an antenna connector, pigtail antenna (specific to each phone model), a soldering iron, copper wire and pliers.
