I live together with my girlfriend in a very small two-storey house. As many young people we are very active users of the mobile internet. We stay online practically in a 24/7 mode and it is quite normal for our generation. We do everything with the help of the mobile internet: we chat with our parents and friends, we order pizza, we buy clothes, we book tickets, we watch videos and do dozens of other things. And of course all obstacles that may prevent us from doing something from the list above irritate us greatly! When we moved to our house we realized that Verizon 4G poor coverage could become a real problem for us. By the way, there were no 3G or 4G signals also. Our smartphones caught Verizon 4G poor signal in all the rooms, except one small room that we use as a guest room where the signal was rather good. Something had to be done with these Verizon mobile signal problems, otherwise, we could go mad.

We live in a village in Portugal. Our children have grown up and moved to the city and with my wife we really miss them. But we have mobile phones and can communicate with them. To tell the truth, all these new technologies seem to us rather complicated that’s why we have never even tried to use mobile internet or some applications but we can make mobile calls and send SMS.

In Mali, where I live, mobile services are still at the stage of development. Though our mobile services providers work hard with a view to ensure mobile connection for the widest audience possible, it is not always easy for them to deploy all the necessary infrastructure at once. Of course, some regions have better mobile network infrastructure, some others – worse. But in general, I can’t say that our country can boast excellent mobile connection.
