I want to share with you my repeater purchase experience.
We were looking for a solution for our offices located in a 16-storey business center. Our company rents the whole floor so we needed perfect mobile connection throughout the floor, including long corridors. The Velcom signal quality used to be rather unstable. In some offices and in the corridor only 1 to 3 bars of signal could be received, which was insufficient for stable connection and good sound quality.
I contacted the mobile operator but according to its data the nearest base station was located next to us, so we could not have any problem with low signal in theory. That was everything they could tell us. As a reply to all our requests to resolve the Velcom signal issues we received dry formal replies like “your request is accepted”. After wasting about a year we decided to resolve it by ourselves.
We bought a mobile repeater for two frequencies – 900/1800Mhz and installed it within 1 day. I would recommend Myamplifiers for their helpful and polite service. We received professional consultations and all the instructions for installation in large buildings were sent us by the first request. Perfect in all aspects!
The result obtained with the help of NS-1100GD has exceeded our expectations! The network quality stabilized on the entire floor. The places with 1-2 bars of coverage have 3 bars now, and where we used to get 3 bars there is a full reception now. We can move from one end of the floor to the other with no fear to have a phone call dropped.
P.S. After we mounted the system, the outdoor antenna and the repeater are out of my reach, so I attach you the photos of the new repeater just received, the pictures of the indoor antenna mounted in the corridor and the entire building.
