I have been using Nikrans LCD-130 signal booster for a few months already and the only thing I regret about right now is that I hadn’t bought it much earlier to extend cell phone range. If only I had known how effective the device is in improving Orange poor reception! In fact, I bought the amplifier to do away with Orange signal problems in my house which is located in a small commune in France. One of the main advantages of the booster is that it amplifies both GSM and 3G signals simultaneously as in my area Orange transmits them at the same frequency.
As far as the kit itself is concerned it is necessary to mention that I didn’t have to buy anything additionally in order to install the repeater. They delivered the full set which included the signal booster, an inside whip antenna, an outdoor antenna with 16m cable, a power supply, all required mountings, and a detailed manual. By the way the manual was very useful when it came to the installation process. I managed to set up the amplifier on my own without any additional technical help, so I think anyone can do it easily. Immediately after the installation the booster started to extend cell phone range Orange and the level of the connection became much better.
