The Usage of Wireless Signal Repeater in Small Houses

2. Wireless repeater also have different gain. The higher the gain the lower signal from outside the repeater can catch and then amplify. The signal can be measured either by a special tool or by a regular cell phone (1-2 bars – low, 4-5 bars strong signal).
3. The wireless signal repeater needs power supply (220V or 110V).

4. The installation of a wireless repeater includes: installing an outdoor antenna outside (usually the roof), setting up a repeater and indoor antenna inside the house. Indoor antenna should be at least 5 m away from the outdoor one. More info can be found in the manuals.
